The "Peace Sports" (incorporated association) Inter-Korean Sports Research Society, No. 70 under the Ministry of Unification of the Republic of Korea, aims to contribute to peace between North and South Korea, peace in Northeast Asia, and further, world peace through domestic and international academic activities and their implementation related to the positive functional elements of sports such as integration of war and conflict societies, health promotion, healthy leisure, development of new era sports contents, therapeutic sports, preservation of physical cultural heritage, traditional sports, AI sports, sports and nature, and more.
Furthermore, under the name of World Society for Peace Sports (WSPS), we aim to encompass all peace sports-related organizations and individuals from all countries around the world and also serve as an international NGO for peace sports. Anyone from all academic fields in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences related to sports, as well as those in the sports field and the general public, can participate.
Peace Sports national branches are operated with their own organizations and social characteristics and cultural practices, and strive to contribute to world peace through close cooperation and networking among countries through sports.
Please invite excellent people around you, both domestically and internationally, to join, and we would appreciate if you could provide opinions on things and methods that can be connected in line with the purpose of peace sports in your field of study or occupation.
